The Tuckahoe PTA is helping to get the word out about the School Budget vote & Capital Bond Project vote that’s taking place on Tuesday, May 18th, and we could use some help from H.S. students reminding community members to get to the polls. Community Service hours are being offered! Adults are welcome, too. Volunteers are asked to make phone calls to a list of registered voters using a script provided by the PTA.* A Zoom meeting will be set up on Sunday 5/16 to go over a script to be read on the phone calls.Continue reading “Parent and High School Student Volunteers Needed!”
Dear TUFSD Families,
As we begin the 2020-21 school year, we find ourselves filled with trepidation at the uncertainties that lie ahead. The COVID-19 pandemic has infiltrated every facet of our lives, and the school setting is not easily navigable with respect to balancing academics, social-emotional well-being, and safety. Even under ordinary circumstances, the start of a new school year is often filled with tension and anxiety.
Dear Tuckahoe Community,
The response to the #24forTuckahoe online fundraising campaign was tremendous! We were able to raise over $7,000 against our original goal of $5,000. Thank you for your generosity – parents, teachers and community members. We look forward to providing our schools with an array of enriching programs and services during the 2020/21 school year.
Please support the PTA in its final fundraising campaign of the school year.
Your donations support 75+ programs, initiatives and events for over 1000 students and staff of Tuckahoe Schools.

Dr. Martuge has worked in the field for over 25 years. She created a special presentation for us at this time when all Westchester County residents are all coping with the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Public health emergencies, such as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) can shake our sense of safety causing feelings of uncertainty and anxiety.
Dr. Martuge has created a free workshop that covers topics including coping tools and strategies to help reduce stress and anxiety, the importance of self-care at this time, strategies to help your children manage their own stress and anxiety at this time, and guidelines for how to talk to your children about what is happening in their world that has changed so suddenly.
