Tuesday, May 18th is the Tuckahoe Union Free School District Budget and Capital Bond Project vote. Polls are open from 6am to 9pm at the William E. Cottle School or the Tuckahoe Community Center. Parent and High School Student Volunteers Needed!

The Tuckahoe PTA is helping to get the word out about the School Budget vote & Capital Bond Project vote that’s taking place on Tuesday, May 18th, and we could use some help from H.S. students reminding community members to get to the polls. Community Service hours are being offered! Adults are welcome, too. Volunteers are asked to make phone calls to a list of registered voters using a script provided by the PTA.* A Zoom meeting will be set up on Sunday 5/16 to go over a script to be read on the phone calls.

Thank You, Teachers & Staff!

May 3-7 is Teacher Appreciation Week! The Tuckahoe PTA invites the community to join us in celebrating the amazing teachers and staff in our district who have gone all out this year to keep teaching our kids through the COVID-19 pandemic. This has been no easy task! We will always be grateful to our community heroes!

This week is Cottle’s Virtual Science Fair! If your child/children participated, now is the chance to add the Science Fair project photos to the following folder in the yearbook website:

  • Please follow the directions closely, as to avoid confusion while navigating the site.

THS Arts Career Panel

Calling anyone who might be thinking about a career in the arts. Our PTA has organized a panel of professional artists to speak with our high school students on the coming asynchronous Monday (4/19). Panelists include an opera singer, an animator, a violinist, a modern dancer, a sound engineer and an author/illustrator. HS teachers will be posting a flyer for this event in their google classroom. Zoom details can also be found in the daily announcements. You don’t want to miss this fantastic opportunity to hear from some really interesting artists!
