To the TUFSD Community:
The Tuckahoe PTA’s 2020 Spring Social was postponed from its original date of March 27th, 2020, due to the COVID-19 shutdown. At that time, the PTA optimistically rescheduled the event for October, but this has now been canceled altogether. We’re disappointed that the efforts that went into planning the occasion did not come to fruition and regret the missed opportunity to celebrate our community with families and district staff.
Our event planning came to an abrupt halt after we had already sold tickets and collected donated items for our raffle. We wish to honor those contributions by notifying everyone of options for how to proceed.
- Pre-Purchased Event Tickets: The PTA can either convert ticket sales to tax-deductible donations to the Tuckahoe PTA or refund ticket buyers for their payment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to indicate your preference.
- Donated Raffle Prizes: These may be either returned to the donor or repurposed for other PTA uses (with public recognition to the donor), such as a possible online auction or other incentives for supporting PTA services. Please email us to indicate your preference.
We hope everyone is doing well in this trying time and remain here to assist the TUFSD community. Please reach out for any support you would like to see the PTA offer.
